Following consultations with the Ministry and the non-profit organization Fetam, it has been decided that starting from the 2025 edition, a competition will be organized for the title of 'First Barista of Belgium.' This competition is an official Championship recognized by the Minister responsible for SMEs, according to the law of 13/05/2009, and entrusted to the non-profit organization Federation of Tablemasters.
To participate, the candidate must be working on Belgian territory and meet the points included in the regulations. This Championship will take place on Thursday, 13th March 2025: the pre-selection will be held in the morning, followed by the Finals in the afternoon. The registered candidates (link provided below) will receive confirmation of their registration and further details of the competition via email from the Fetam secretariat.
Official Championship recognized and protected by the Minister responsible for SMEs, according to the law of 13/05/2009. This Championship, First Maître d'Hotel of Belgium, is organized by FEDERATION OF TABLE MASTERS VZW.
